Join us for a beautiful cycling holiday in Italy and discover the many delights of cycling from Bassano del Grappa.
Cycling in Italy is a fantastic addition to our line up of trips, one we just had to share. Run under our umbrella company Genco Ciclismo (we will tell you more about this over a glass of prosecco) we felt this dimond of a location couldn’t be hidden from you any longer.
Bookings available from June to September
The perfect time to visit Bassano del Grappa is in the warmer months. With long summer days, low rainfall and the cool mountain air. It’s a wonderful match for epic days in the saddle. When not conquering the Monte grappa you will be rolling through the world famous Prosecco region and taking on many of the famous Giro d’Itlaia climbs such as the Muro di Ca’ Poggio, seen in many editions of this famous old ‘Grand Tour.’
Our weekend trip has been designed to give you an unforgettable Italian cycling experience.
You will be based at a four star rated hotel, 1km walk from the downtown Bassano. With numerous bars and shops you won’t be disappointed when relaxing off the bike.
The hotel caters for all dietary requirements and produces a fine Italian style menu. You will also be able to recover at the Hotel’s brand new spa to ease any muscle soreness from the days riding. Our team of experienced and knowledgable ride leaders will host you from start to finish. We will also arrange transfers for you and your bike from Venice Marco Polo Airport.
Not included: Flights, lunch, snacks and evening recovery beverages.
We usually plan to ride on arrival and departure days (if times allows). If your flight time doesn’t work with that, don’t worry there will be plenty of riding throughout the trip.
If you would like to hire a bike we can provide something special from our bike partners Basso Bikes.
Each day will be around 80km-100km (approx.). Our biggest climb will be the Monte Grappa which is 27km and reaches 1750m altitude. Quite simply…breathtaking.
