We wanted to provide everyone the opportunity to be part of the amazing cycling Mallorca has to offer. Something different and something unique ‘The 3 Monasteries Ride’ was born.
An event where you ride in a group and help support each on the flats, in the hills and up the mountain climbs. When you have summited you will Celebrate at the top whilst soaking up breathtaking views capturing the moment with a fun selfie. The Three Monasteries Ride will take you to three stunning locations on the beautiful island of Mallorca.
‘The 3 Monasteries Ride’. The concept is to offer a group ride to enjoy an amazing day cycling the beautiful roads of Mallorca. An alternative route which is different to the mountains taking you deep in to the heart of Mallorca conquering three iconic monasteries.
One week before we will add the downloadable routes to the website.
Remember, it’s not a race. However, we will be using strava for fun and providing some cool prizes from our partners.
We will announce through social media the competitions we have planned. Stay tuned.
When you register for the event you can also purchase the jersey. The jersey will be available in mens and womens sizing. We encourage everyone to wear the jersey as it looks great for pictures and if you need help from follow riders you will be easy to spot.
Made by our clothing partners Genco Ciclismo, the fit is great and the quality is lush. Perfect for the sunny and warm climate of Mallorca. For €65 euros why not pre-order one. Collection will be available at the expo.
Yes, of course. The event is open to everyone on the island we want you all to come and enjoy it.
If you are not staying at the hotel you can buy your paella ticket at reception. €10 euros per person and includes a free drink…Once you have proved (on Strava) you have completed one of the three distances.
We recommend you have an emergency contact number to call in event of any major bike failures on the day. It’s your responsibility your bike is in good working order and is suitable for road cycling. We recommend you get a service on your bike at least a week before you travel. In event of accident please save 112 and 061 to your phone.
Remember it’s not a race. This means you need to respect the rules of the road and not start thinking you are in the Tour de France. Check roundabouts and junctions and be careful on the descends. We want you finishing on the bike, not in an ambulance. Please note you should have your own travel insurance . Emergency number for Mallorca in an event of an accident is 061.
It’s up to you what time you want to start but we recommend a leave time between 8am-10am. We will have pace makers leaving the hotel at 8.30am for 180km route.
You can now download the routes by clicking on the arrows next to the distances above. You will be able send the GPX file to your computer and follow on the day.
